My “Classic Conversation” With Glenn Frey

Hi everybody and welcome to the Ken Calvert “Classic Conversations” Podcast.

I’ve come across thousands of hours of interviews that I’ve had stored in my basement for over 35 years. Cassettes, DATs and Reel to Reel.

I’m guessing that right now I have about 600 repaired edited and cleaned up about as well as they can be.

With the Eagles playing the LCA on Friday, October 27, 2017 – I thought I’d go back and feature an interview I did with Glenn Frey in 2012.

Glenn and I were friends going back 40 years. His passing was a genuine punch in the gut. “Say it ain’t so?” Glenn passed in January 2016.

The Eagles now feature Glenn’s son Deacon. It’s shocking how much Deacon looks and sounds like Dad. He played his first gig with the Eagles July 16, 2017.

So, here’s my interview with Glenn Frey talking about a lot of things. The purpose of this interview was to talk about a gift to his parents in the form of an album called “After Hours.” A great collection of “Old School Vocal Pop”. Enjoy and come back and visit with kencalvert.net soon.
